I heard a rumor ... any truth to it?
I thought I read somewhere that there was a possibility that Bruce Spingsteen may make a surprise appearance in Atlantic City on Saturday night (I can't remember if I read it on here, or BW, or Marg). Anyway, a buddy of mine who is a HUGE Springsteen fan said he heard a rumor on a Springsteen site about the same thing. It would make sense, especially considering Jimmy did Glory Days in Camden on Tues (which sounded awesome).
I was in Camden on Tues, and supposed to head to AC tomorrow, but figured it may be hard to do the long drive, and the room rates in AC are ridiculous. But, if Bruce were to show, than the Pleasure'd Be Worth All The Pain.
Anyone hear anything on this?

I was getting excited at the thought of seeing Fingers Taylor agian, but if Bruce did show up that would just be incredible.Bucs_fan wrote:I thought I read somewhere that there was a possibility that Bruce Spingsteen may make a surprise appearance in Atlantic City on Saturday night (I can't remember if I read it on here, or BW, or Marg). I guess we won't know for sure until the show.

I heard that there's gonna be an entire Jersey tribute set starting with Jimmy joining Jon Bon Jovi on the song that goes "Shot to the Heart and You're to Blame, You Give Love a Bad Name..."
Then he's going to join Bruce AND Little Stevie in doing the extended play version of Dancing in the Dark and I heard that Courtney Cox is going to reprise her role and jump onstage and dance.
Then he's going to join Saddle River, NJ residents, Jay Z and Beyonce in a version of Beyonce's song "Bootylicious".
Then he's going to do a duet with a Frank Sinatra impersonator and sing
"New York, New York."
Then he's going to end the set with Jersey natives Dionne Warwick and her niece, Whitney Houston and sing "The Greatest Love of All..."
Sorry, I am just goofing around.
I need to go home.
Maybe Bruce will show. I'd rather see Fingers, though!

I don't want to live on that kind of island
No, I don't want to swim in a roped off sea.
Too much for me, too much for me
I've got to be where the wind and the water are free.

No, but I heard it live twice in Philly and once at Camden. All 3 were nothing short of absolutely horrendous.drunkpirate66 wrote:ever see the Glory Days on the Wrigley DVD . . . an obscure Springsteen B' Side you might get a kick out of is "Underrated Catchers". It is an acoustic solo. Both deep and meaningful.LIPH wrote:I've heard Glory Days live 3 or 4 times, I don't need to hear it again. It isn't even one of Springsteen's best songs, in my opinion.

That was the advantage of me singing along so loudly and off-key. I couldn't tell how bad a job Jimmy was doing.rednekkPH wrote:You're joking, right?Bucs_fan wrote:Jimmy did Glory Days in Camden on Tues (which sounded awesome)
