now jimmy has a new tour route to think about. the casino tour. add to vegas, reno/tahoe, atlantic city, laughlin, nv., and either detroit or windsor, depending on which side those casinos are on. i don't know, so the detroit pholks should weigh in on this. oh and also, the indian casinos in california.
i realize theremust be more around the country, but the california indian casinos are good for at least 2 or 3 shows, maybe more.

:D :) :o :-? 8) :P   :pirate:

Don't forget about his own M'Ville Biloxi in a couple years!

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

You missed the one he's played the last few years....Mohegan Sun.

Hate the idea. Most of these Casino arenas are not large enough to hold the pholks who want to see JB. The largest one here in Michigan would be the Soaring Eagle Casnio in Mt. Pleasant Michigan and while they bring in some bigger names (mostly of the Country genre) the prices are ALWAYS over and above what the normal concert venues charge!! Stick to the outdoor Sheds Jimmy !!!

The main reason I would discourage a "Casino" tour is the regular reports I get from BN'ers at these shows that talk about the number of excellent seats that are apparently comped to 'friends' of the Casino or other such "guests" that don't really understand or get into the atmosphere of a JB show.

I was appalled to find that the 1st few rows at the AC show were filled with non-PH's. I was sitting front row dead center (BEST Bday present ever and I'll post the whole story later) and the people all around me were casino high rollers or other people who only stood for the SYKBH. One guy directly beside me said he was comped the tix by one of the casinos and I overeard him tell the lady he was with that he didn't even like Buffett's music!! What a waste of front row seats!!

The AC show was great, but I don't want more casino sponsored shows if it means fewer good tickets available for the people who really care about the show!

We drove to NJ on Friday after the Nissan show and got a late start for the Saturday show. After a quick bite to eat we were in our seats about 20 minutes before show time. I was amazed to find a much older crowd than usual. The retirees were everywhere and by the time the show started there were still lots of empty seats (and still empty at intermission). We also noticed a lot of people sitting for the majority of the songs. We even overheard at one of the beer carts that the staff were not prepared for this kind of volume (at a Buffett show?). I wonder if we caught the rest of the city off guard...

While things got off to a slow start, the conert was still great and the crowd was definitly into it by the end of the show. I hope he plays it again and the town is a little better prepared to accommodate the throngs of parrotheads.

Agreed. We met a lot of virgins at the Trump Beach party. $10 cover and $9 drinks. Actually thought the tab would be higher when got it...or maybe we just didn't care by then!
The weather was perfect for a beach party!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
