Get Well Jerry Jeff!!!
Get well soon Jerry Jeff!
SUMMER UPDATE ON CANCELLED SHOWS
As many of you know we had to cancel some important shows this summer…shows that would have been fun to do. We too are disappointed, but we had no options.
Since last January/February, Camp Belize, Jerry Jeff’s back problems have been steadily creeping up on him and no amount of physical therapy seemed adequate to turn it around. Goodness knows he tried, 4-5 days a week.
While we had initially arranged for the surgery at the end of August in order to make the Minnesota Zoo and Chicago HOB shows, the doctor had to advance the procedure for his own scheduling to earlier in August. We are very sorry we’ve had to cancel those shows as well as the Banks and Shane fun party in Georgia in July.
We hope the cancellations are not too much of an inconvenience or disappointment. Jerry Jeff really hated to do it, but he had no choice. At least he’s glad we could give this much notice. Now he can get on with his recovery and be ready to give you the all-out performances you love from him.
He’ll be back on top soon and maybe even take requests for “p***’ In The Wind.”

WOW - PHIN power to JJ!!! He should not be worried about OUR inconvience!!! I recall he looked like he was in pain at the New World Theatre in January in Austin. Hope this surgery will help eliminate the problems forever. For sure we will see him p*ssing in the wind at another time and venue. Get better JJ!!

He seemed OK, but was sitting whenever possible.
Get better soon, Jerry Jeff! ^^^^POWER!!
springparrot, I almost DD's you last night from LJT show. Bob Livingston was playing with Larry Joe. I came home and went to the homepage to see about the shows being cancelled.
I know you had said Bob had not played with Jerry Jeff the last few times. Was he in Gruene?
Cosmic Bob was fun last night.

I had my eye on that show myself, but was disapointed when it disappeared. Sure would be nice to see him on the west coast. Get better JJW.ragtopW wrote:OK now I know a couple of you follow JJ.

I wish JB and JJW would do a tour (or mini-tour) together, or maybe a couple weeks worth of Vegas shows, or something. That'd be a blowout event for us BNers!ragtopW wrote:trojan_sixtyone wrote:Been wanting to see JJW for a while now. Not this year, I guess.![]()
I feel blessed that my first JJW show was in Austin Texas..
These moments we're left with, may we always remember, these moments are shared by few...
