Quick HELP needed

I'm making Buffalo Shrimp the recipe calls for fried shrimp, I can't get this shake and bake thing out of my mind :o so my fryer only does a pound at a time, can I bake 5 pounds of breaded shrimp or will there be a huge discrepancy in taste and I should just do it the way I always have and make 5 batches????

I would make the 5 batches.... but I also follow recipies to the letter. :-?

Are you trying to bake the shrimp or fry them? If you are baking them as long as they are aren't too close together, some space between each shrimp, you will be fine. With the fryer sort of the same thing. You can't overcrowd it so they are all crushed together. Also if the shrimp are cold and you dump too many of them into the fryer at once you will lower the oil temp too much.
