tough tough to pick here. i had previously believed this is my favorite album, and this poll definetly cemented that thought. at first i thought Makin Music would be it, then saw APLAF, then saw Life is Just a Tire Swing, then saw Nautical Wheelers, then saw Tryin To Reason. AAAARRRRRRR. had to go with Nautical Wheelers, although I love APLAF, as well as many others on this album I think that whenever Nautical Wheelers comes on it gets me the most excited, or its the cong that i enjoy most when i hear it. if i had this much trouble with a question concerning favorite songs.....oh boy

This was a torturous decision but I gotta go with Tin Cup Chalice, APLA40 was right on it's heels though. What can I say, I love good red wine in my tin cup. Of course as I vote Nautical Wheelers is playing on Sirius.

Incredibly difficult choice here. As is the case with many BNers, this is my favorite Buffett album. After going back and forth between "Migration," "APLAF," "Tin Cup," "Nautical Wheelers," etc., I went with "Migration." The image of an African parakeet sitting on his shoulder, teaching the bird how to fuss, teaching him how to cuss and pull a cork out of a bottle of wine is a visual that I think is classic Jimmy!

If, "All of the above," was a choice, I would have picked that. In fact, I'm gonna go get a brand new copy today to load onto my new i Pod for some scratch free music

The old copy is tattered and torn. If you help a Tequila Shot to my mouth and forced me to pick just one song that soing would be APLA40. I like what one guy wrote and is posted on the Barometer Soup thread, he got chills in 90 degree weather listening to Jimmy play APLA40 while on Antigua... (brain fart, did I get the right island?)

Dammit, Jim.....
So many good songs, grouped together.... APLAF wins, but Tin Cup Chalice is a virtual tie....

I'm going with "A Pirate Looks at 40" by a nose over "Tin Cup Chalice".

The first three songs are not that great and are what keep this album from perfection.
I'll go with Migration.

2 songs with zero votes.
I suspect that in this case, it's mostly because of the competition being so fierce.

Door Number Three.
It reminds me of the wonderful Steve Goodman and also the start of the Live By The Bay video.

This was a very hard choice, but right now, I'm going to choose Nautical Wheelers. This song takes me to a whole different place, for instance, standing with someone that I would love to be in love with on a boat deck on a starlit evening and doing a slow dance to this song. It's a beautiful song, and when i first heard it, the melody just grabbed me and made me pay attention.

My favorite album... my favorite song! Because it means something very personal to me. This is the song that made me a Buffett fan.
I get teary eyed every time I hear the line "I want to go back down and die beside the sea there..." It is where I want to spend the remainder of my days. Someday I will make it happen. I know that sounds corny but it is what it is...
