by Wino you know
I flipped an 11-sided coin, and it came up "A Pirate Looks At 40."
Well, I AM a pirate, definately born 200 years too late, but this album has 11 solid gold gems on it.

Wow! This one was tough. Like Wino said, this album is solid all the way through, but I had to go with APLA40 since I have a skull and crossbones tattooed on my arm!

OOOUUUUUCH
Having to choose on this one took me awhile (and I'm NOT revealing which one I eventually voted for in fear of being majority taken to task for my choice

Had to go with Tin Cup Chalice. Love a lot of the songs (I think CILCIA is a better album....just to stir the pot on THAT discussion

) But I picked TCC because of a certain person it reminds me of.

A Pirate Looks At Forty - there were a lot of folks that thought I'd never get to see 40.
Sorry to disappoint them.

2. APL@40 (don't p*** off Mother, Mother Ocean........ she fights back)
3. Hurricane Season (that's obvious)
4. Migration (how did I get here?!?!)

Can I just vote for the whole album? That's like asking which of your children is your favorite. Almost impossible to answer.

This might be the hardest album for me to pick just one song, but I had to go with Life Is Just A Tire Swing. It took me forever to choose between the last six songs on the list lol.

So many great songs on this one.
Nautical Wheelers was the song I liked most at first and I still enjoy the good old waltz beat. I love the lyrics about the sail boat race and will always picture the crazy dancer in the crocheted vest when I hear this song now. I realize I like lots of songs with pedal steel and a good drum beat.
(Nautical Wheelers is my BN FEUD Team!!)

Migration. But just barely over Pirateor presents to Send you. Another solid album with very few songs to skip over.
