I love First Look. It's about going down to Brazil... I love the infusion of Portugese into the song, and the rhythmic, pulsing repetition in the song. It's lovely and I could listen to it over and over.

A while back I posted a thread on what wa Jimmy's most underrated album and I proposed it was Floridays. A lot of folks agreed with me. It was almost impossible to pick one for me as it is first rate from top to bottom. Without question the album I wish got more attention during live shows.

When the Coast is Clear, hands down. One of my favorite songs by any artist.... On my "life songs" list.
But I also *love* Creola, No Plane On Sunday.... the whole album, really....

Floridays. Because I live here I guess.
The Hoot version is too karaoke-like and leaves out too many verses for me.

Floridays because it reminds me of where I want to live. Whenever I go to Florida the line "I'm back to livin' Floridays blue skies and ultraviolet rays" goes through my head the whole time I'm there!

Close between Flroidays and No Plane on Sunday. But had to go with Floridays. Love the images in conjures. While I also live "where the river meets the sea". I have always longed to have that location 800 miles south of where it really is.

almost every song is a classic but I went with Floridays. You could substitute anyplace that you long to get back to or go home to and it speaks to you of good memories...
