Christmas Island and Mele - excellent. Merry Christmas is a bit too sappy. Sailor's is down the middle.

This is our favorite Christmas CD.
Deciding on only one favorite is extremely difficult.
Christmas In The Caribbean (always sounds like a good plan to us)
Christmas Island (fits our priorities perfectly. When do we leave)
A Sailors Christmas (beautifully written and performed)
Merry Christmas Alabama (sentimental thoughtful and sweet. A perfect fit on this album. Christmas is the time for sentimentality.) Living in so many places over the years and with my birthday being on Dec. 24th I can identify with this song.

We play this every year during the season and never get tired of it.
However, we would really really like Jimmy to do another Christmas CD.
It would be great if he wrote some tropical, sailing Christmas songs for the new album as well. No one can write them they way he does. Besides, every Parrothead who loves Christmas needs plenty of JB's music to play during the season to set the spirit.

Mele Kalikimaka
No real reason; it's just catchy. all of these songs are fun to listen to at Christmas, mostly because they provide a change from the typical Christmas fare.

Mele Kalikimaka - Loved this song on Christmas Vacation in 89 with Chevy Chase! With Jimmy singing it makes it even better!!!

I really like the three originals on this album. I wish he would have done more originals.
I love what he did with "Up On The House Top". I can picture Jeff Spicoli singing it.
