I don't normally send these types of things on, however, if I'm not mistaken, Wounded Warrior is a charity that Mr. Buffett supports. If he doesn't, I apologize for being wrong.

I thought this was an ideal thing for BN'ers to get behind if that is truly the case. This is the email I got from them today:

ReZoom.com, a new website devoted to active baby boomers, has a promotion calledA Better World, and has been narrowing a list of hundreds of charities down to 21, representing 21 geographic regions, with the winner to receive $100,000. Wounded Warrior Project is a finalist!

Here’s where we need your help. We need you and your friends and family to vote for WWP at ReZoom.com. The winning charity will be determined by votes on ReZoom.combetween July 9 and August 10. Please go to the website, register with a username and password (there is no cost involved) and vote. You can vote once per day for the next month.

Be sure to vote every day and forward this to friends and family that are interested in helping our wounded warriors.

He does indeed! He's done at least one fundraising concert and was involved in an awards concert this spring that was also fundraising in nature, if memory serves.

Also, Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, NY, where both JB and Mac have played on a number of occasions, is a huge supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project.

Cool! I thought I had read that somewhere and I signed up for their email updates. Thanks Jen! :)
