Then I could show up at the wedding WITH somebody. :D

Me too, but JULY????
I tried my best to talk those kids into getting married in FEBRUARY, but they listen to me like my wife listens to me. (In other words, they DON'T).

So, July it is.

I've been to Oahu in July. It's cooler on Oahu in July than it is in Washington DC!

Oahu is better than the mainland, no matter the month!

You're SO right. (I spent 132 months there-and they were ALL good).
But if I'm only going to be there a couple weeks, I'd prefer February.
Of course, as you said, the worst month in Hawaii is better than the best month on the mainland.

You're in the "seeing (HOT) old friends" category... I didn't list everyone I spent time with! The mahalo's were for exceptional acts of kindness... I guess I should have included you for standing in line at Tiki's bar with me for about 20 minutes, where I think you were going to buy me a beer had we ever gotten waited on!

It's been just over a week since I got back, yet, it seems like another lifetime ago.

BTW-
Meeting Don & Connie on the way over and Jenny on the way back (all at SEATAC INT'L) was an extra treat as well.
To say those three are great people would be a HUGE understatement.
It was so nice being with them, even if it was just for a short while.
