aeroparrot wrote:LAST CALL FOR THE PHONE LIST!!!! PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER IF YOU WANT TO BE ON THAT LIST. FINAL DATE IS AUGUST 25.

I have always wondered, why have a cell phone list, what purpose does it serve and how come the deadline is August 25th?
i might be doing the Fenway thing also...but lunch in the North End!!!....than again i could be at the Cape drinking at Trader Ed's!!
As much as I love Fenway this is Buffett Labor and I will be at the beach on the Cape and at Trader Ed's on Saturday . . . the city is fine - especially for those of you who want to see Fenway . . . but live music on the beach is the way I think I will spend my pre Buffett time.

Well Sonny Landreth will be there, he told me so last night. I asked him if he ever went out in the parking lots, told him he should, he laughed. Guess that would be a no...lol

Anything being planned for Saturday in Boston? It would be nice to find something "Buffett related" to get in the mood. Otherwise I'll hit the Northend for Lobster Bombolotti at Cantina Italiano. The Sox are on my list, but the way they have been playing could depress me. Also, there are six of us and not sure everybody is into it.

Side note: Going to the Milford Oyster Festival today to see Changes in Latitudes!

The plan is to go to the North End (possibly) and then try to catch a Red Sox game in the evening. They are playing Toronto.

Actually they are playing the Orioles. We went to Fenway south (Camden)last weekend and after the comments made about Fenway by the announcer (Fenway is a toilet) the crowd should be in rare form.

Bombolotti is a large tube shaped pasta and Cantina Italiano is the only place in the North End that still makes it by hand. They serve it with half a lobster and other seafood...It's my staple meal when in town! (I recommend the Fra Diavlo version)

Oops, looked at the schedule a few days ahead. And it's things like this that make people hate Red Sox fans. The person blasting says things like this then we get on their case and they wonder why they are hated.

One of the things I had heard (and it sounded this way) is that they will restrict anyone entering the Stadium parking lots to those who have tickets already. Those who have tickets at the Will Call will NOT be allowed in the lots until they pick up their tickets.
How do they plan on doing that when will call is next to the gate??

You park at a private lot and walk back I guess.

Sounds like the Chesney crowd has Gillette pretty nervous about these 2 shows.

They are, the Fox 25 reporter who reported the story said that the town council is hoping that parrotheads are older and much more mature crowd.
