Otherwise I'll hit the Northend for Lobster Bombolotti at Cantina Italiano. The Sox are on my list, but the way they have been playing could depress me. Also, there are six of us and not sure everybody is into it.
Side note: Going to the Milford Oyster Festival today to see Changes in Latitudes!
Thats today...say hi to mike(Guitar player( and Steve Singer...good people...and Artu's ids my favorite in the North End!!

made the trip to the red roof inn in mansfield to gillette yesterday (during pre-season game tailgating). we continued on to the end zone. it's not that far but we definitely are off on our own compared to the main lots. did noticed that the parking charge yesterday was $35 for the end zone. did somebody mention that the lot would have port-a-potties????

About 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile to the stadium.

My friends and I are flying into Boston Sunday morning and staying with a friend who lives in town. We won’t have a car and could not find a hotel near Foxboro. Since the subway does not go to Foxboro, what is the best (and cheapest) way to get out there (and back)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not a lot of options. You could rent a car and drive. Or you could post a message on here saying that you need a ride to the show. You could take the commuter rail to Mansfield or Norwood and try to take a taxi, which will end up costing you a fortune with traffic.

Suggestions:
1. Take the train into Norfolk station and get a cab . . . not sure how you will get back . . .
2. Take the train into Norwood and get a cab . . . not sure how you will get back
3. Limo.
4. Hook up with someone on Buffettnews . . . I would help but I live on Nantucket and am already crashing with friends in Boston.
5. Helicopter.
6. Party Bus. There are many for the Pats . . . I assume there will be a few for Buffett . . .
7. Walk.
8.
Or just rend a car? Budget has deals for 19.99 a day.

Does anyone know if the End Zone parking lot is paved or dirt? I know, who cares...

But there is a method to my madness....

We are planning on getting there by 9am-915am. We should all try to meet out front so we can park together.
Are we going to try to coordinate food, grill etc... or should we just bring our own and fend for ourselves?

They are, the Fox 25 reporter who reported the story said that the town council is hoping that parrotheads are older and much more mature crowd.
I know a few paramedics that used to work Great Woods and they concurred that the country crowds were always worse than the Buffett pholk. They said the Parrotheads were typically a happy, friendly crowd and they were never as many problems at Buffett. Hopefully this will still stand true at Gillette!!

I have a bus leaving from Weymouth @ 10:30AM. You can take the Red Line to Braintree and a cab to my place in Weymouth will cost about $10. It's a package deal with all my friends and family. I'd extend an invitation to you out of towners if you're up for it...get in touch!

We'll be there by 9:00am. Have a couple of small charcoal grills. Not great, but something. If I can find a dumpster, one is a leave behind.
We'll also have a 10'x10' canopy, a table, chairs, coolers, etc. Maybe a little blow up pool if it's going to be warm.
We are going to shop in Franklin the night before for food.
