Ah ok.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

In another thread someone claiming to be a Gillette employee said the parking lot attendants have been told to arrive at work by 8am on Sunday.
I'd like to be closer than the EndZone if other lots do actually open early as well. That be said, we might be headed for a lot of confusion at this point. I don't know the area, but what if we meet at the EndZone and then send out a reconnaissance team to scout the lots closer to the stadium?
I’m up for whatever is easiest at this point, and will go with the majority. I would be happy to avoid the ½ mile walk and would prefer being closer to all the other action as opposed to a satellite location if we can get in very early. Wow, I miss Great Woods!
If Buffett is anything like the 50 + Pats game I have been to since I have become a season ticket holder than the party(s) (the good party(s) will be closer to the stadium where the buses and rvs park . . . and they will be open when everyone gets there. Not sure why people think otherwise but thousands will be there early just like Great Woods.
But trust me . . . the End Zone is more for people who got a room there and not for those who are tailgating and then leaving for where ever after the show.
And lots of the Northbound Side (End Zone is on the Southbound) get out first . . . trust me.
The End Zone is also on the opposite side of the stadium. The state troopers don't really like people carrying cups filled with beer or whatever accross Route 1 to the stadium . . . in my experience at Patriots games and two concerts.
Didn't mean to p*** you off, Dude . . , just suggesting a closer spot (better parties are the ones you don't have to walk 2,800 feet to get to or cross over a major highway . . . all I am saying is that those two facts are hassles that could be avoided for out of towners who don't know better.)
Again . . . to each our own.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

Just clarify...I, and what seems like most of the group if I may say, are planning on meeting at the end zone @10am. If other people who are there before us find lots closer to the stadium that we will be able get the RV's and people in call us on our phones while we're on our way and we will change plans on the fly. I too want to be closer, but if a lot isn't open by 10 when I get there as far as I'm concerned it doesn't exist.
That's what the phone list is for...If you're not on it and Aero is in a good mood maybe you'll get added to it...
That's about the best we can do at this point.
Tommy, if we go to another lot just jump in as we roll by!

One of the state troopers working detail that day is sitting right next to me laughing his balls off (served with him in the USCG). . . there is no need to worry about parking; End Zone - great! But rest ashored that all will get a parking spot when they show . . . see you there!
And Aero, are you ever in a bad mood?

If other people who are there before us find lots closer to the stadium that we will be able get the RV's and people in call us on our phones while we're on our way and we will change plans on the fly. I too want to be closer, but if a lot isn't open by 10 when I get there as far as I'm concerned it doesn't exist.
That's what the phone list is for...If you're not on it and Aero is in a good mood maybe you'll get added to it...
That's about the best we can do at this point.
Tommy, if we go to another lot just jump in as we roll by!

The bottom line is this, other lots MAY be opening early but we don't know for sure but we do know the Endzone is opening early so that should be the plan. As far as getting out of the Endzone after the show, a right turn and your on rt95, that won't be a problem unless you go left then you have to pass the stadium.
So back to the topic of meeting times. We all should try to meet at 9:30-10:00 at the Endzone then make our way into the lot. IF someone finds out a lot near the stadium is opened early then we can adjust on the fly.
