Don't compare. The late parking situation will kill the comparison. Hopefully we will see Great Woods again and THEN you can compare.

not even close to a sell out.... never thought I'd see it.....
Jen,

If this is the ad your referring to :

It has been there for at least 2 weeks. Brokers and scalpers can't be happy about that, esp. the ones who pay to advertise on boston.com
Yes, that's the one... I don't go to boston.com that often so I hadn't seen it before. Two weeks? Wow....

Hi Guys
We are planning on parking with you 9/2, wondering when your lot will open? We have a small rv, 20', winnebago. How much to park? Thanks

Too Funny....

I just called the EndZone to see if there were any cancellations for Sunday (so far none) and asked what time they are opening the lot for non guest parking, the guy said around 2-2:30. I said if I got there at 1 could I get in and he said yea probably.
I just called the End Zone and got the same response.... 2 o'clock......

So, to recap.... looks like the lots open between 2 and 3, even the private lots..... Any different word than that?

Do we have a revised plan? Do we have a plan? :o

Where is everyone going? End Zone? Other? (I'd like to be able to find people....)

This is my last post as I am going to see some golf next to Great Woods (oh how I miss you GW!) and then out to Cahoon Hallow to see some good reggae tonight . . . SO here we go . . .

The Outlaw BBQ will let you in. It is on the North Bound Side of Rt 1. It is also the closest independant lot next to the Stadium. I believe they are charging 30 bucks. Show up there whenever Buffettnews people - well, probably after 10AM.

I tried mentioning this weeks ago but many people were all about the End Zone . .. do whatever you want, but if you are looking for a close lot to the stadium that will let you tail gate early than I highly reccomend the Outlaw BBQ.

Have fun! Hope to see you there . . .

now i'm bummed. if this 2 pm this correct it really shoots the day. not quite enough time to do some boating and not early enough for real tailgating.

so what do we think of this BBQ place???

There is a tailgate hotline. The number is 800-604-0838.
BottleofRum is scouting the situation tomorrow morning and he will update the recording by 9 or 9:30.

ok this really is my last post . . . I think my friends who are waiting are about to kick my as$

I know Pat (Rum) personally and I think it is great he is doing a hotline but if you don't want to wait around calling an 800 number you could just show up and start tailgating around 10 - 1030.

I think people are a tad too anxious over this.

Going to be a great day - Great Weekend! Later.

Thanks, Bill! When you first posted this I thought it was the *stadium's* hotline. NOW I get it.....

One thing is for sure.... bring your walkin' shoes for tomorrow....

Did I miss the phone list? Not the tailgate hotline, but personal #'s so we can find each other? Is this the right Foxboro thread to be asking that question on?

I can assure you that unless something unusually happens to us on our way in (snow storm, mine mishap, bridge collapse, hurricane) we will be in the area by 9am looking for a place to land. By 9:30-10am I hope to be established somewhere so check that number by or just after 9am. We will be getting of 495 and heading North and will go up to the Outlaw BBQ and see what is open or opening very soon everywhere in between. If Outlaw is Open and that is the only spot or the best spot than that's the likely spot.

Looking forward to seeing some folks down there tomorrow also! I'm trying not to get too worried about the whole parking thing. I'm just gonna head down there around noon time and see what happens. SGH...Tommy Bahama...Mommar...I'll be on the look-out for you guys again this year!

BTW...for what its worth...I have a friend who parks at the Outlaw BBQ for all Pats games. He called over there for me 2 days ago and he said the police told him not to open his lot any earlier than 3pm. It sounds like they are trying to enforce that time for all the private lots also. I'm sure something will work out though! 8)

Welcome! And like SGH said earlier...I wouldn't try to compare this Gillette Stadium show to anything you've been to....Great Woods is still where its at. Enjoy Fenway!
