Buffett songs to be born to

I'm trying to put together a mix cd to have in the delivery room with us and so far have about 10 of my favs on it for my son to be born to but I'm trying to get more ideas(my parakeet is coming Friday Woohoo!!!). So I thought I'd ask on this forum, what's a cool Buffett song you'd want your kid born to? I know you wouldn't probably think these are something that has to do with babies, but they mean something to us or because they are just favorites. So far on my list is:
Margaritaville
Love and Luck
One particular Harbor
Volcano
Piece of Work
Window on the world
Southern Cross
School Boy heart
Banana Republics
Far side of the World

Volcano and Piece of Work.. interesting. I'd trade the former for "Dreamsicle", and the latter for "Simply Complicated", but that is me. :D

I know piece of work I'm still deciding on, not quite the typical song to go with babies but I like it. I'll have to discuss with the hubby.

My Doctors wouldn't let me brng my cd down - I had to listen to Peach's and Herb .....

I like that whole dc so far... but you need to add some other non-buffett to mix it up ... like "I'm coming Out" by Diana Ross,
"Born to be ALive" - David Naughton (?)
"Catch me I'm Falling" (?? 90's girl band)

“Little miss magic” if you are having a daughter.

Others that might work are: "first look" or "love and luck," but ultimately the choice is your's

Congratulations on the new ‘keet !!!

WDWGDAS . . . It may be how you got there in the 1st place . . .

Fruitcakes . . . an anthem to warn your child of lifes impending dooms.

Thanks for the ideas. Fruitcakes I would have it but unfortunately my hubby is not as big of a parrothead as I am and he actually(can't believe I'm going to say this, but)hates that song.

And WDWGDAS-not this time but with our first child LOL!

Tin Cup Chalice.....

I want to go back to the island,
Where the shrimp boats tie up to the pilin'.
Give me oysters and beer for dinner ev'ry day of the year,
And I'll feel fine, I'll feel fine.

Going back to where the little keet was in his/her happy place. :D

If it's a girl, better have Daddy sing Little Miss Magic right away. Here I am doing just that ...

I had thought about tin cup chalice and now that you brought it up and I thought about it more, it's perfect because 2 weeks before he was created we made the trip down to Southern Florida and included a little time in the Keys.

And no we still haven't decided on a name. We said we would wait till we see his face and then we would know which one of the few middle names we like will be the one to fit him and Finn is still in that group.

Just cause I'm so proud of my big turkey I've been baking in there, I'll brag a little, HE'S MEASURING 9LBS 7OZ today!!!! So we'll see come this weekend.

My little boy came into the world to SOASOAS.

My hubby grabbed the wrong JB CD for our daughter's birth and I wasn't feelin' it ... maybe Feeding Frenzy ... not sure ... anyway, he had also grabbed a Bob Marley CD and that was actually a blessing ... very soothing. She had heard JB for nine months anyway, and, fittingly entered the world to "No Woman, No Cry"!

Prayers for a safe delivery!

When Noah James came into the world 14 months ago, we had a buffett mix on of mellow Jimmy. I liked Happily Ever After Every Now and Then, Jimmy Dreams, Come to the Moon, That's what Livin is to Me and Tonight I just need my guitar.
Good Luck on the birth and congratulations on your new little boy - you will have a blast!
