So here at Virginia Tech we are having a concert in our football stadium next month at the start of the school year after the massacre. So far, its Dave Matthews, John Mayer, and some rap artist that are performing. I was kind of dissapointed in this, and knowing Jimmy's generosity and things he has done in the past, I sent an email asking him to come and play to info@margaritaville.com. So far no responses. What do yall think are the chances that he would come, or even consider coming? What else do you think I could do to make this a possibility? And I know JB has played with DMB in a benefit concert before, so...................

you don't say what day the concert is, but JB is on tour in Sept. and deviations from the tour schedule just don't happen. virtually every day starting about a week before the first show to the day after the last show are scheduled.

not sure if info@margaritaville.com is the best avenue to go. That will be read by someone at the Margaritaville store in Key West. I have no idea if they forward any e-mail to him.
Might want to try to put together something about the event and present it to his management company directly. I think you will have a better chance with them, although it's still a long shot.
