Aren't you bringing all the extra red cups?Brown Eyed Girl wrote:I don't remember a no beach ball policy...but it wouldn't surprise me. Even Jimmy seems to be tiring of them. Cameras have always been prohibited, you just have to be sneaky. Also, Jimmy's rider will supercede the venue's yes/no list, so things you might think are ok to bring in might not be...I know Jimmy doesn't allow bottled water even if the venues do.
In the lot they definitely enforce the no glass bottles rule, and that may even include cans (can't remember). Everything in a cup, so bring plenty of the ubiquitous red cups to share with those who forget. And bring trash bags for your trash.

Dang, I'm going to mad if I don't get any tickets tomorrow. I've only got about a 15 minute time window to get tickets. Matter of fact I'll be staying at school in the library just for that chance to get to tickets. Hopefully I'm not going to be too late getting to work.Brown Eyed Girl wrote:I'd bet on it being a sell out due to how many folks got shut out last year (damb brokers). Lynn is going to try to get tickets for me since I am away from home and in the land of dial up and Borders doesn't open til 10.mjeischen wrote:Is this a sure fire sell out? I am not 100% if I can make it yet but don't want to miss out on tickets. Should I buy tomorrow and hope for the best or do I have some time?Hopefully she can get thru...but if she doesn't and anyone ends up with two extra tix, I'll call dibs on them!

Generally how big does the BN group tailgate get, and are we meeting at Las Brisas on Friday night?
I talked to Vince earlier today and he is still up for Las Brisas on Friday.

I will indeed be going. irvine is nice weather year round. it will still have a summer feel to it for sure. as far as the scene, remembering from last year the lot was crazy. a lot of fun. shooters for hooters, shots for c..ks, beer pong and so forth. they had the RVs park in one lot and us normal car people park in the other. keep in mind tho, this is irvine. meaning its in orange county. as we say its behind the orange curtain. the cops are not to be messed with. so stay outta trouble and a good time will be had for sure.

Only 30 more minutes before tickets go on sale. Wish all of us luck that are trying to get tickets.

It's a great venue. I saw him there in April '06, it was a blast. I can't wait for this show, well I guess I can, like I have a choice.MikeJW wrote:What is Irvine like? This will be my first show at Irvine and I notice there were only 5,000 lawn seats? Is this a good place to JB play? I just saw him at Alpine and that place seats 40,000, Irvine only seats 15,000.

Egads. What a difference THAT was for buying tickets. For Nissan Pavilion, I camped out in line and barely got tickets--not enough for everyone who wanted to go from our group. This time, I only waited in line 3.5 hours, and had someone on the computer to try to get the extras we wanted, not expecting to get any that way (had always been shut out before) but figuring it was worth a shot.
*blink* I not only got extra in person but the person on the computer got all the ones he tried for, too.... um. Well, went from worrying about having enough tickets for our group to having more than twice too many! Eek. I know they're all lawn tickets, but STILL. I guess I'll be headed for the ticket exchange, though I sure didn't think that would be the case earlier this morning.

I'm in!
Myself and some of my friends are going to this and are going to tailgate, only one of us has ever been to Irvine before, the rest of us are virgins. I am just getting feelers for how this Irvine tailgating goes.
Thanks!
Thanks!
