Awesome time as always! Tommy - I have a few pics that I need to send you when I get around to it. I think that was the best sounding Jimmy concert I've been to. It was great to meet some new phriends and run into our phriends from here. Mrs. Feesh and I have had some stressful and emotional times lately and it was great to cut loose. It was also great to see her be able to cut loose. We didn't bring the great news we thought we were going to, but I still am starting a great new job for Lockheed Martin in two weeks (as long as I don't fail the drug test from the aromas from the show). So that's good news!
Until next time...
Until next time...
I've got a Caribbean soul I can barely control, and some Texas hidden here in my heart.

Re: great time
I really hope that wasn't any of our beers. We were throwing ours away in the trashcan next to the karaoke setup. I hope we didn't leave any empties laying around. It all gets kinda fuzzy toward the end of the tailgate sometimes.MobileTikiBar wrote:
I'd also like to issue an apology to Jimmy, he was very helpful in working out tailgating details prior to Saturday, bringing two generators and it appears he and his girls helped clean up some of the tailgating area after the concert (aparently someone who was drinking beer left bottles all over the place). Very cool of you to do that, thanks man.

It was a great weekend, seeing Jimmy twice, going on a gulf-cruise and TWO tailgates!
Good to see again all those that I'd already met and those that I just met (at least in person)!
On the plane, I reviewed some more of the vids I took on Sat, and I discovered I captured Marnin Grita Guy on the big screen! That was during Everybody's on the Phone. What MGG was telling us after the show about what he was doing during the show makes so much more sense now!
Also got Tiki Bar, Balcony Girls, and I think it was BG2, also on the big screen during 5:00 Somewhere...
Will put these up soon!
I assure you I have no idea what your talking about.
I also know that you are a master of "photo fixing" so just because you
have a picture does not mean anything. I am sure you could probably "fix"
a picture to have Daffodils dancing the Cha-Cha, but we know that could
never happen.

All I can say is "WOW"!!!! ......absolutley incredible weekend!
I am blown away by the kindness and generosity extended to Phil and I on so many fronts. You Florida phlockers sure know how to show the rest of us how it's done! Breeze and Kimmy, thanks so much for E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!!!....and Adrian, Andy, Susan and Dave.....y'all put so much effort into planning a set-up that enabled those of us who were traveling and relatively "homeless" without tailgate extravaganzas of our own to have the time of our lives! We met so many BNers......from Ontario to Texas, Colorado to Long Island and even England (
)....each and every person we met was a gem! It was so great seeing GBM and M&MM, the Cocotels, and MMG again and being taken into the fold by so many new pholks who didn't know us from Adam!
This weekend confirmed for us (again) that BNers are awesome and the bestest people walking the face of the earth!! Huge thanks to everyone who was there and helped make our weekend so fantastic!

Doc and I got home late last night. Thank you to Kimmy and Breeze for the food, laughs and fun. It was great meeting you this weekend and those burgers were fantastic, one of the best I have ever had. Kimmy you rock....
Thanks Adrian for the amazing tailgate and thanks to Jack for the wonderful and sometimes not so good Karayoke
You are too cool.
It was great meeting everyone, we had a blast, the whole weekend was great and thanks for making our first and not our last Florida tailgate a wonderful time. We will be back, the whole venue was great.
To top it off, we got Tin Cup Chalice to end the year. I can't think of any better way to end it.
Jeff and Maureen, thank you for the chairs and the lights, you were so much fun to meet.
It was so much fun and we can't thank everyone enough for their hospitality. I want to move there, it's way too cold in Philly area, it was 32 when I got up this am....... brrrrrrrrr
Doc says we have to work to vacation it's ying and yang......

I was pretty mad when I realized that pic was on your camera and not mine.......I'm left with nothing! I was having so much fun I faltered terribly in the picture taking department. I'll getcha next time! Sorry that Phil interfered with your pic of the bathing beauties. His goofy grin was looming over your shoulder on that one......
Karen was, undoubtedly the most photographed entity (no pun intended-

damn! what a concert! we had a BLAST! i just hate that we didn't get a chance to come over and meet some of you at the tailgate. we had the damn VIP parking (lol) and it wasn't NEAR as fun over there. however, i'm an alabama grad, so we hung around the car to listen to the game on sirius before heading in the gates.
anyway, my wife and i have had quite a hectic and stressful year so far with the new addition to the family, the move, new jobs, etc, etc. anyway, we needed a getaway, and this was a "treat" that my wife and i cooked up for our birthdays (mine 10/16 and hers 10/8). i scored some smokin' tickets (19th row, near center), then we used some skymiles to get a flight from pensacola to tampa, and rented an awesome little convertible to ride around in.
damn, what an AWESOME weekend!
pics:
Saturn SKY : small, but a really cool little car. However, I was crammed in that thing like a sardine in a can! (I'm 6'-5"!!!) It was still a BLAST to have for a day.

View down one of the roads in St. Pete Beach on our way to lunch.

Val and I on St. Pete Beach. We ate at Hurricanes...

Enjoying a few beverages at the tailgate outside the amp...

We had VIP access, so this was how close we got to park to the Amp. Damn. That was nice to not have to walk a mile to get inside.

Cool screen shot that I just had to get.

Jimmy and his guitar...

Another of Jimmy...

Downtown Tampa, right before we headed for the airport to drop off the car and head home!

awesome trip and an awesome time!
we'll be back next year to tampa, and we're definitely going to have to join all of you where the REAL PARTY was before the gates opened!

I posted this in today's daily thread but I thought I'd put it in here too.
I think I'm in the wrong line of work. When I checked out of the hotel yesterday morning I walked out of the lobby to go to my rental car so I could drive back to the airport. A Mercedes was pulling into the parking lot of the Wing House, one of the waitresses got out of it. Either she does quite well with tips or she has a sugar daddy.
