Brad Delp tribute show

I attended the Brad Delp tribute show last night (Aug. 19th) in Boston. It was a pretty neat evening with 7 bands performing sets over the course of 5 hours. All the bands have Boston ties and were linked to Brad Delp in some way. The highlights of the night for me were Delp's Beatles cover band, Beatle Juice. Extreme was also impressive. But perhaps the best performance of the night came from Boston. They had a slew of guest vocalists fill in for Delp during their hour long set of greatest hits. A very emotional evening as Delp's family was on hand and his daughter showed off a short film about her father's life which was a nice touch. An emotional Tom Scholz ended the evening by talking a bit about Brad and introducing every member of Boston from over the years.

sounds like an incredible evening of music.

It's still very sad & frustrating to me that the man could drift out of life,
...in such a ludicrous fashion.
