To all parrotheads attending the Gillette Stadium shows.....
Please be advised of the following information from the Gillette Stadium website. This information contains a major change concern the opening of the parking lots. Originally the lots were scheduled to open at 3:30pm however that has now been changed to to 4:30pm.
Here is the information currently posted on the website:
Parking rules and regulations directly from the Gillette Stadium Website:
Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band Parking Guide
General Parking Rates
* $40 for cars
* $150 for RVs (enter P10)
* $150 for Limos (enter P4 from north or P6 from the south)
* $200 for buses (enter P10 only)
* $40 for motorcycles (one per space)
Please note: All lots owned and operated by Gillette Stadium will open three hours prior to the concert, or 4:30 PM on September 2nd and 8th. In the interest of public safety please do not arrive early and park along Route 1 waiting for the parking lots to open. Local and State Police will be patrolling Route 1 and requesting any stopped vehicles to move off of Route 1.
Parking and traffic control is something we are constantly reviewing here at Gillette Stadium in order to make your experience on game day the best it can be. With the volume of cars coming into and out of the lots from primarily one road, it is essential we ask for (and need!) your cooperation when parking at Gillette Stadium.
As a reminder please respect our rules and regulations:
No Ticket No Entry
Park As Directed
Plan Ahead
One Vehicle One Space
Watch For Other Fans
Keep The Aisles Clear
No Trailers
No Over Night Parking
No Solicitation No Flyers
Gillette Stadium Parking Rules and Regulations
Our current operational policies outlined below, are necessary for two primary reasons. First, they allow us to maintain sufficient capacity for all our fans, regardless of their arrival time. Second, they help us to efficiently and rapidly move cars off of Route 1, which reduces the travel time. Any type of deviation from this process increases the travel time for all fans. Even one car can have a ripple effect that affects everyone. Please familiarize yourself with these policies and help us keep things moving
Parking Rules and Regulations:
No Ticket No Entry - In order to ensure all event ticket holders have a parking spaces, Gillette Stadium requires all vehicles accessing our parking lots to be ticket holders for that days event.
Park As Directed - Follow the directions given by the parking attendants and park within the space they have designated for your use. We do not allowed fans to park their vehicles where they choose in any of our parking lots.
Plan Ahead - If you plan to meet friends and tailgate side by side, you must arrive together to park together (one vehicle after another). We do not hold spaces for those arriving at a later time. We do not allow individuals to wait in a particular section of a parking lot until their friends arrive.
One Vehicle One Space - Please park your vehicle within one parking space. You will be asked to move your vehicle if you occupy more than one space.
Watch For Others Fans - Please be courteous to other arriving fans. Wait until the parking space next to yours is occupied before you open your doors or unload any tailgating items.
Keep The Aisles Clear - Once you are parked and the spaces around you are filled please do not pull your vehicle into the drive aisles as they prohibit emergency access around the parking lots.
Any vehicle left in the aisles will be towed at the owner's expense.
No Trailers - Car or Truck trailers and RV camper trailers (fifth wheels) are not allowed in Gillette Stadium parking lots.
No Over Night Parking - Gillette Stadium parking lots close within 2 hours after an event, therefore, no overnight parking is allowed.
No Solicitation No Flyer's- Solicitation in the parking lots is expressly prohibited unless prior written approval is obtained from Gillette Stadium management. Any person(s) seen soliciting in the parking lots will be removed from the property.
By following these rules and regulations you'll help ensure that all of your fellow fans are able to locate spaces and park in a timely manner.

I look at it this way....here is a chance to prove ourselves...if people cooperate...if everything goes well on the 2nd...just maybe they relax the rules a bit for the 8th!!!SchoolGirlHeart wrote:and as far as anyone can tell from selectman's meetings, etc, they're dead serious.... the police are going to tell you to move along..... sounds like a real mess in the making....

I hope so. The problem I foresee is when people line up early (because inevitably they will) and are told ot move along, where are they going to GO?? I see gridlock ensuing on Rt 1 and of course it'll be "Those Buffett Fans" who caused it.... just a mess....TommyBahama wrote:I look at it this way....here is a chance to prove ourselves...if people cooperate...if everything goes well on the 2nd...just maybe they relax the rules a bit for the 8th!!!SchoolGirlHeart wrote:and as far as anyone can tell from selectman's meetings, etc, they're dead serious.... the police are going to tell you to move along..... sounds like a real mess in the making....

I see it too.....they can't move the cars...but they could threaten with a very expensive ticket...100.00-200.00...would get people moving!!!SchoolGirlHeart wrote:I hope so. Here's part of an email I got this morning from my local club
There will be NO admittance to any lots until 12:30pm but we have an agreement with Mike to go in at 12:30pm. I strongly suggest NOT going any sooner than 12-12:30pm.
The price is $45 per car, buses, rv’s and vans will be extra.
Due to the problems at the Country Music Fest in July the State Police will be strongly enforcing the “no standing” zones along Route 1. Also, Gillette Stadium Lot #10, which is just past Auto East on Rt 1 South, will be opening earlier than the other lots, but not as early as Auto East. Mike told me that there will be a strong police presence in Lot 10 and anybody trying to get in without a ticket will be told to vacate the premises. This means there could be a lot of traffic on Rt 1 South.
How nice that it's supposed to be a lot for PH Clubs and it's MORE expensive than the regular lot. I don't know why they don't just get over themselves and open the regular lots earlier, there'd be NO problems then, this way they're asking for trouble.
End Zone here we come!

I know, I was glad to see that and it IS only $5 more - if it gets past the aggravation of other lots I'll be happy. If it's closer that makes a big difference to the rest of my group so thanks for the info! Hope to see you there!photogal wrote:Hey Mike is letting us in to Auto East at noon...I think thats very nice. and its not half as far as the end zone. I'll be there with my club and will walk down to visit you all sometime during the day!!
