I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I'm not going to lose any more sleep worrying about it since no one will know what's going to happen until we see it.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:if they're not there early they won't be able to get there are all.... gridlock...dewyduster wrote:I agree. I have seen a post floating about saying that parking lot employees are required to show up at 8 am. What would they be doing for 7 1/2 hours if they didn't open up until 3:30???captmurf wrote:Considering the Kenny Chesney concert led to total mass confusion and 5 mile traffic backups, I don't see how they can't open the lots early. They say the same thing for GW but we show up at 10:30 every year and they are at least 300 people already there.
I bet they let people in by noon at the latest.

Two possibilities: either they are going to be the mega parking lot nazis that they threaten to be... OR they are trying to scare away a lot of people from showing up early but plan to open the lots before 3:30 if necessary.finsupnh wrote:It looks like they’re preparing for the worst…

I think the town has them over a barrel..... I would imagine Gillette/the Patriots don't want to screw up the long term arrangements they have for NFL football over a couple of concerts.....dewyduster wrote:Two possibilities: either they are going to be the mega parking lot nazis that they threaten to be... We'll know more tomorrow. I worked at the stadium for years and still have friends there. When they show up for work tonight, they'll be told what time to show up for work on Sunday.
It's usually 3-4 hrs before gates open. However as all you Pats season ticket holders know, if traffic starts to back up and there are workers there, they'll open.

Week 2er...
Hopefully for us going the second week, we will hear whats going on from the folks going the first week. I am staying at the Comfort Inn about 4 miles away. We have 8 rooms there and will be tailgating there until we know we will be able to go up to foxboro. It just won't be the same without the Sausage Egg and Cheese with a beer at 10:00...
