WHAT WERE WE THINKING?
From the lot, the banners looked big, but not this BIG.
Each banners is 20' x 20'.
WHAT WERE WE THINKING?
We did manage to score a couple of Landshark signs and
Buffett/Tequila banners first....then this.
I am still amazed they both fit in our SUV.

Now that we have them, we are not sure what we are going to do with them.
My wife was trying to score a Landshark umbrella, which would be useful on beach days, or just a sunny day....but no go.
These banners are too damn big.
For scale, check the playset in the upper-right corner of the picture;
these banners dwarf it all.

They are pretty heavy-duty too, but no good as a tarp as they
are made to allow air through.

Great haul!
I'm thinking sun shades! They let air through, but should provide a little shade, no? Make your own Landshark gazebo!

you know, if you really don't want it, I've got some wall space where it would fit nicely!skiboutins wrote:WHAT WERE WE THINKING?

reminds me of the Knoxville concert a few years ago. sitting on the deck of a local bar, Rep just hung the "corona presents: Jimmy, etc, etc." you know, the one where he had hair
...anyway, I casually mentioned that banner would look pretty good in my garage, few beers later, he pulls out a switchblade and snick!
stuffed it in his shirt... I took it to Lamination Services here in town and they mounted it on a board with frame for FREE! Ah, Parrotheads...
Anybody else lusting after the big yellow seaplanes on the beer isle??

I have one of those. I paid too much for one on ebay. It looked excellent in my place. Believe it or not, my wife didn't agree. It's deflated and in a box in my closet awaiting the day I have a place to put it and all the other stuff in the box with it.capnrick wrote: Anybody else lusting after the big yellow seaplanes on the beer isle??
