Very very cool.

When I was in college at Auburn, we weren't very far from Ft. Benning in Columbus, home of the Rangers. There were many a timethat I would hear the thump thump thump of a helo and walk outside my apartment and look up to see a Blackhawk hovering just above treetop level. Every now and then you could get a guy to wave, most of the time they weren't paying too much attention to those of us down below, they were focused on their training.

You wouldn't believe some of the things I've seen while flying tree top level,

we fly over southern MS all the time in our C130 aircraft... we do have an audience from time to time.

Just after I got my pilots license I took a friend flying and she wanted to fly over her parent's camp in northern NH. I didn't realize that I'd crossed over into an active MOA (military operations area). We were flying at about 500 feet as we approached the pond where the camp was. At this point two pairs of A10s went UNDERNEATH us! One pair rolled to the right and took up a position off my right wing and just pointed SOUTH. I took the hint.
