that Hannah Montana

Does anyones kids like this so called artist? I have heard she is really pouplar with all the little brats.

Which got me to thinking-- they were mentioning it on US99 this morning because Billy Ray is her dad. She is coming to do a show here.... Tickets will probably go quick--- would you pay more then face to take your brats to see her in concert?

My daughters love her to death.. they can both sing all of her songs and recite every episode by heart.

That said.. in todays world where there is way too much inappropriate programming geared towards kids.. I think the show is a refreshing alternative to all the other junk that is suppose to be for kids.

And NO.. my children aren't brats.. but thanks for assuming that all kids are.

Also, why would you label her a "so called artist".. what bad experience have you had to arrive at such a conclusion about her?

Because I had never heard of her until today. I don't follow kiddy stuff what so ever. Heck, my one buddy's son would rather listen to AC/DC or Pantera than anything that is off Disney. And he is 8.

Can't say that I've watched the show, or know her music, but things I've read and heard about her sounds like she's a nice young lady. She has talent, rules at home, and seems to have her head on straight. :)

I agree with you, Penny. A much better role model for children than someone like AC/DC or Pantera. Wonder what that kid is going to grow up to be like...

As for the talent.. everything she's doing serves as better role modeling for kids than alternative and that takes talent in itself in the biz.. besides, she's only 14 yrs old herself so she still has room and years to grow as a talent.. she's already started off right.. I know she takes vocal lessons from one of the top vocal coaches in Nashville (Renee Grant-Williams).. and has a hit show after only being on the air for two seasons.. so she's doing something right at a very young age.. gotta respect that. But yeah... she's huge with kids

So was Britney Spears. So was Lindsay Lohan. So were the anorexia twins.

We need to stop using entertainers as our role models.

Wow that is down right degrading. A person is not a good person if they like or listen to metal music? So an 8 year old boy like metal instead of teeny bopper rock.

And yes CaptainP I am looking to what you would call "scalp" I call it providing a service for those who did not try hard enough to get tickets.

Okay, you win... :-? I will rephrase my statement.

At the present time, she is a much better role model......

ok Big Jimmy, are you trying to bother people yet again  Maybe the kids who listen to AC/DC or Pantera at 8 years old are the "brats"...but then again...I wouldn't call someone else's kids names unless I knew them...

As far as Hannah Montana...yes, she is Billy Cyrus' daughter. People magazine did an article on her not too long ago. She is raised well, has a small allowance, travels with her parents and is, so far, a good role model for these kids.

Thanks for your concern!

probably IN SPITE of some of the music I listen to.....

My daughter has passed the HM stage, but I have NO DOUBT if she were five years younger.....I'd be lookin' for tickets....but also not willing to paw over face....I won't do that for Buffett, so wouldn't for HM

I'm sure there are many people who say the same thing about folks who take their kids to Buffett shows...

Just something to think about.
