Considering I had to put thought into this... I'm not sure what that makes me. I'd have to say a doofball or a goofus

I hereby proclaim my goofball-ness. Dork, nerd and geek seem to imply some sort form of intelligence mixed with annoying tendencies. Goofball seems to be a good fit for me.

When I hear the words nerd and geek, I think of the main characters from "Revenge of the Nerds". Very smart but very socially inept.
When I hear the work dork, I think of the Anthony Michael Halls friend in 16 Candles. You know the ones, the guys he goes to see the night when he has the hot girl passed out in the car. These guys may or may not be smart and are somewhat socially inept.
When I hear the word goofball, I think of someone is silly and doesn't take him/herself to seriously. May or may not be smart.
When I hear the word doofess, I think of a nice person who tries but stumbles over him/herself in social situations. May or may not be smart.
When I hear the word H.O.G, I think of Larry.
If I use those definitions, I like to think of myself as a goofball. Given what I do for a living (and for the shear fact I spent so much time writing all this up), I am probably a nerd/geek (minus the socially inept part).
Of course, everyone is going to have their own interpretations of those words.
