I hope there's a new album out soon, even if it's hit and miss.
Taken in their entirety, there are several of his albums I don't like--"OTSTL", "SOC", etc. What I live for are the precious gems on each album-- The Pascagoula Run, Changing Channels, I Heard I Was in Town, If I Could Just Get It on Paper…
sorry, Guys and Gals Didn't mean to cause WW3. I, unfortunately, didn't here his comments the other night and I know sometimes some of you out in BN-land have some insight and scoop on such things!!! Sheesh- all of this over a simple question. Just going off hearing him tell the people in NYC that he would see them next year.
The reason I always want to come home- Paradise Cove!

What I think you are referring to is the new Little Feat BEST of CD which LF does their classic material w/ guest stars. Im pretty sure Jimmy does Dixie Chicken w/ LF as he often does this song in concert. As far as I know Little Feat has NOT released this CD yet.

Serious?? I thought TTWWY had a lot of good stuff in it. LTC is another that I enjoy regularly. Another country sounding recording would be very satisfying for me.
a new album would be great if he decides to utilize the talents of him and his band and not rely so much on outside material or covers. i think the first step would be to get in the studio with the band and actually jam.but i dont think jimmy does that,i think he does more of mapping out a general idea for an album and picks and chooses songs written by other people and then co-writes a few.i for one really like ttwwy but long for albums like barometer soup and fruitcakes.

We would also need a Jimmy, Jake and Coral Reefer version of Desperation Samba LIVE as a hidden track. (Ramos, Ramos...where's the hidden track?)

Ah, just what Jimmy wants to here. Here is exactly the reason why the corporate empire has become the main focus, do to kool aid drinkers like this.
Good news for you though, I hear he is going to make a single and charge 75 dollars for it. Bet you will be first in line.

Oh for the days before so many were so blind.
I'm surprised you have time to post. I thought you were too busy writing your manifesto.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

And you KNOW this, how? And no, I'm not blind at all.
For the record, I haven't seen Jimmy since 2004. Probably will never again. I'm happy to have seen him many times. Had fun.
Now it's just too much effort to just to see a show for us. And we like supporting the 'little guy' like Jimmy once was.
I applaud his business sense and popularity and success.
