I like Paul Thorn but hope this doesn't have anything to do with the Muzik Mafia that brought us such "country" stars as Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson, both of whom don't have a country bone in their bodies.

I've actually gone to a LIVE taping of a show there and once Mac did one and I watched that. Good shows...

But, I guess it's the same MusikMafia

If it is, I hope Big & Rich never show up on one of Paul's albums. They completely ruined Billy Joe Shaver's record a few years ago when they guested on his otherwise excellent song Live Forever. I'm sure somewhere Eddy Shaver was spinning in his grave.

Just saw BJ do "Star in my Heart" at ACLfest for Eddie. Quite moving. Of course he did Live Forever too. :)

Here is one on youtube

I know what you're saying about Big and Rich.

nice Live Forever from Woodsongs...with Jesse Taylor

Sorry about going off on tangents. At ACL, Billy Joe said something about praising Jesus Christ...and then said if you don't love Jesus Christ Go To Hell.

Paul Thorn is excellent. I hope he doesn't get involved with the Big & Rich crowd as well. I don't really care for Gretchen Wilson but I will give her credit...She has an excellent voice.

She sure knows her way around Heart's Barracuda. She did a much better job on that than she did with Freebird with Skynyrd on the Grammys a few years ago. She should be singing rock n' roll.
