Sulu gets "stoned" . . .

Lt. Commander Hikaru Sulu, Starfleet, was recently honored by Earthlings. The asteroid
1994 GT9 will henceforth be known as
7307 Takei. Sulu goes by the name George Takei when dealing with Earthlings in his assumed identity as a well-known actor.
Congratulations Lt. Commander Sulu!

You and I are on slightly different trajectories in the space-time continuum. In my timeline, his promotion to Captain hasn't yet happened, but it will also be well-deserved, I am sure!
