I hadn't heard this yet, but, I just turned on my tv and it's on every single local news station here. How tragic.

Just hope and pray for no fatalities... knowing what its like for a parent to bury a child after such a thing is incomprehensible.

It appears the shooter shot and killed himself.
He may have been suspended.
It looks like everyone else survived from what's currently being reported.

There seems to be quite a discepency among news agencies as to the number of people shot and if they were adults or children. Let's hope that the numbers are lower and the injuries not life threatening.
Kids (and parents) should not have to fear going to school.

Just got home and this is the first I've heard about this.
The teenage minds of kids who have been suspended are a mysterious thing. (if, in fact, he had been suspended).
Off to learn more...

All who were shot have been released from the hospital or are in stable condition.
The shooter killed himself.

woohoo on the first one
sorry for his family on the latter.
Thank goodness the media did not have the chance to turn this into a zoo. During the Topless Phlocking, there was a shooting at Univ. of Delaware. They made it sound like WW3, with 100s dead.
Then.. it turned into a 2 wounded story when the spokesman finally got to the microphone. Still scary and stupid, but not the level of horrific carnage that gets you to the top of Sweeps Week. Thank goodness
