They turned out really great, considering my kitchen skills and my first try using the 3 different flours you need to use to replace wheat four.

The frosting is key. I had to use butter since I didn't have any shortening on hand, but when I make them again with shortening they will be just like the "real" thing.

Plus, the chocolate dough doubles really well for ice cream sammiches! YUMMMM!!!!!!

Oreos were her #1 favorite cookie before she was diagnosed with Celiac disease. None of the gluten-free store bought versions even compare. It was a super awesome treat.

We have a whole roll of the dough left so I think I'm going to make ice cream sandwiches with the rest and maybe save some scraps to make Oreo Blizzards at home.

This thread is hilarious. Watching it mature from a rant, to a young woman getting her oreos.... **sniff** They grow up so fast...

I forget she's only 10 sometimes because she is like talking to an adult. It's bizarre.

I'm not sure what the heck all these random responses are about..... but to answer any questions....... I believe threads are hijacked because if you can find a high quality thread in sufficient volume they actually have significant cash value.

Once a shipment of thread has been hijacked a person can enjoy a very lucrative income stream for years to come....... by selling the thread on Ebay and to people with missing buttons and such.... 8)

What about string, or rope, or cable .... could those be hijacked also?
And why is it always hi-"jack"? What if a woman does it .... shouldn't that be a hi-"jill". Of course, maybe Jill just isn't that friendly and she doesn't want to say hi.

Only on the fifth Friday of every month ending in "Y".
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.
