I'd suggest Tropical Soul's No Plans at All http://cdbaby.com/cd/mccaughey2. Love that CD. Or for Jim Morris, try Live at Octoberfish. A lot of good songs on that one.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to "trop rock". Not a big fan of fake steel drums and drum machines.
After some sampling last night, I'm gonna get a few of Howard Livingston & Mile Marker 24 and Kelly Mcguire's "Boat In Belize" sounds great too.
