Landshark in Alabama

Post by ~ Parrot Bay ~ »

Landshark is making its way through Alabama. I found it this weekend in Auburn. The clerk said it just came in. Also found it in Phenix City, AL for those in West Georgia.

It's at the Flora-Bama (which I believe is technically in Florida).
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

Since the Glendale location is to opens shortly here, we will see Landshark soon...

And since I work over at Miller Time, I will tell you that I am hearing from significant beer buyers at grocery chains that while they will carry it, it is only due to the Bud tie - in - they don't really like it.

Me either - but I might be biased by where I work too...

I've yet to see it in the Western Kentucky/Southwestern Indiana area.

Feel obligated to try one out of curiosity. I do like CIP's Island Ale. Not great but not bad. A good beer for a hot day when they're offering draft specials.

My mother-in-law owns a small bar here in WI and according to her supplier, she will be getting Landshark sometime in November. We'll see I guess.

It's all over Tuscaloosa now too. I discovered it there during football season opening weekend. Every bar on the strip is carrying it and I know Publix and Wal-Mart there is carrying it.

I liked the Island Ale at CIP fine.....it was a bit too sweet for my taste....should have been a bit more hoppy, a little more bite, especially paired with a burger

They have them in Pennsylvania too.

Landshark Lager is not in Eastern PA yet, I've been calling distributors since May and most of them don't even know what it is. I've had it and I like it better than Corona, I got it at the Jersey Shore and my friends told me they have it at the Maryland & Delaware shore as well. I've been told that they started the distribution only in his restuarants and in the areas that Jimmy had concerts at and that it would be put out to other areas in the future. If any one knows when it's come to PA, pls. let me know. Also I want to get one of those Landshark Lager surfboards they are selling on Ebay, so if anyone knows how to get one those pls. let me know!

I was referring to the Quaker Steak & Lube restaurants when I said they were in Pennsylvania. I could care less about Landshark, it's one of the worst beers I've ever had.

It's all over the Gulf Coast. Well, today it is raining enough to flood New Orleans and surrounding parishes. But what I meant was I've seen Landshark all over the Gulf Coast...in stores.

LSL has appeared in the local grocer here in Charlotte, NC. $8.59 for a six pack of a Budwieser product?!? :o Sorry Jimmy, I paid $126 to sit in a seat to see you play live but you have gotten too greedy with this. If you are trying to cut into the Corona market here's a hint for the marketing department: sell it for LESS THAN Corona. Here's another head's up: IT'S NOT AN IMPORT! I buy German beer for less.
