This year we tried three ways to get tickets for the Chicago show. I stayed home and got on the phone and the computer and my wife went to a remote TM outlet. I started calling at 9:00am and tried until 10:15 and NEVER got thru. I also tried on line and finally got tickets at 10:10 and they only had lawn left, so I passed. My wife however, was the first one in line at 9:30am and there was no lottery, just first come first served. And she got Gold Circle seating in the pavillion only 30 rows from Bubba. I will continue to do it this way from now on!

We've been there 2 years in a row. They supposedly don't allow tailgating, but everyone does a couple hours before the show. FYI, the parking lot is gravel (rocks) so it makes it hard for pools, etc.
