I think where you stay in Key West all depends on "how old you are", "how you want to get around" and the emenities your looking for.
I you just want to fall across the street to a bar-then somewhere near duval.
If your a young spring breaker, then something like the Sheraton across from the beach and not a bed and breakfast type place.
If you want a pool and dont mind walking or taxis to duval then something on the outer sections of the Island.
