In a way I miss the days before we were Parrotheads, TM stood for Toakmaster (not TurdMaster) and you could get a ticket to to see
Jimmy a month after they went on sale.
A RUFFLEDFEATHERED PARROTHEAD!!
5 phone lines 2 computers and no tickets!

I agree with the Key West Man, I've always gotten tickets standing in line. In the last five years the only year I had to go to a scalper was the year I tried to buy on line. Some people have no problems buying on line but unless you have a high speed cable modem access I wouldn't chance it.
to give you a little hope, last year I was looking for a couple of extra tickets for a friend and everytime I went to the local record store I had them check the Ticketmaster computer just to see if any were available and one day in June there were 2 pavilion seats available. For 2 and a half months there were no tickets and then "bang" 2 show up. According to the record store guy what happens is that sometimes peoples addresses are screwed up when they order and if the tickets are returned to Ticketmaster by the Post Office they put them back up for sale.
