Isuzu's are noted for catastrophic engine failure and timing belt failure. Personally I've only known 1 person that had a Isuzu and they didn't say one way or the other. I lost contact with them
One of my daughter's friends back in OK, has his Mom's hand-me-down Isuzu Trooper, probably has a zillion miles on it ...
hard miles, Luke could tear up an anvil...
His Ma got a new one, last time I saw Luke's hand-me-down (XMAS 2006), he'd broken out the back glass, (plastic wrap & duct tape).... no idea how he broke out the glass, but the Trooper was still cruizing....
Good Luck !
When it goes from full to crescent...I move in and out of tune...Everlasting Moon....
I had the original Izuzu pickup truck.....the Chevy LUV truck....made by Izuzu and marketed by Chevy.....I bought it used (it was a 1975) with about 30,000 miles on it.....I drove it until It had a major electrical meltdown....at around 140,000 miles...fixed it...sold it to a friend who still has it....it has around 350,000 miles on it now.........Only annoyance issue I had was that it would over heat anytime I used the A/C....jeeezzzz....why do ya think I need the A/C...!!?!?!? occasionally while climbing steep passes I would have to put the heater on to draw more heat outof the engine.....oh well even with that it is still rollin'......

Well it's time to start looking for a 2nd car. After looking at a few places, we found a 2006 Isuzu I-280 2.8L truck, like above, in red.
QUESTION is any input, advice, thoughts, comments on this truck????? Anyone have any experience or know someone with experience??
Under that Isuzu name is a Chevy Colorado. The best part is if you can get the warranty transferred to you it becomes a good deal. Not to mention you can get it serviced at most Chevy/GMC dealers.

little bro has a hand me down 1999 rodeo... still running just fine... the suspension is a little creeky/could probably get some new breaks and the A/C isn't as cold as it used to be, but all minor very fixable things... that car is well into the 100000 milles
