We stood in line for Tweeter Center-MA tickets this morning. We got there at 8:30 and there were about 30 people in line already. 8 of the people had just gotten into line 5 seconds before us. These people had no idea who the tickets were for. They didn't even know who Jimmy Buffett is!! They even asked us if he was a comedian!!!!! About an hour later they asked us if they were in line for tickets to Jimmy Hendrix!!!!! These people looked completely out of place and they made it very obvious that they were scalpers since they kept saying they didn't know who they were in line for. At 10:30, the last scalper was just getting his tickets-each of them got 6 a piece-and the store thought the tickets were sold out. Fortunately, the computer spit out 4 more tickets for us. The other 100 or so people in line who were actual fans walked away empty handed because of these lowlife scumbags. I just thought I'd pass this along to see if anyone else felt this is unfair that the cops there did nothing about this blatant scalping. Unlike those other 100 or so fans, I'll see you at the Tweeter Center!

And by chance what did you want the cops to do, pull the people out of line? What grounds would the police have to do that? It is not against any law to buy up all the tickets to a concert, to resell them yes but unless they were reselling them right there in front of the police your statement makes no sence! Yes it sucks they are buying them up, but to b**** about the cops letting them get away with shows your interletic!
