Halloween in KW, going to be interesting

Oh yeah!!!! And I think we are going to do the drive from Miami. I can't believe I just said that....my husband really wanted to do it this year but I really didn't want to get in a car for four hours. Yeah I know....great drive...beautiful scenery....gotta do it at least once....OK...OK...I'm in!
Besides he promised we can stop at some "fun" places along the way!
Can we rent a convertible????

If at all humanly possible, fly into Ft Lauderdale or West Palm Beach.... Miami (MIA) is a *NIGHTMARE* to get in and out of.....
Flying into MIami is bad, but leaving the rental car and flying out is worse, The rental drop off"s are Way off site. and really hard to find.
almost the whole area N,S,and E of MIA is a zoo. Having flown into both FLL and PBI, the latter is the better of the two. Really easy to get in and out of.

And I thought Hugo played Hogs all the time regardless of MOTM so I just figured he'd be there anyway.

What am I missing here?
Maybe I'm glad this will only be my second trip to this thing, I don't have a single expectation yet.

Mac isn't part of Club Trini and you're right, it doesn't look too much different from last year.... In the past, Peter Mayer had typically been the Thursday night headliner at the Casa.... I seriously doubt he's the TBA.... There's not room at Conch Republic for a Peter sized crowd....
Hugo is scheduled to play the Hog that week. He doesn't play there all the time; about 4 or 5 times a year.
Thanks for the insight Jen, like I said, I'm so new to most of this. I guess I thought because Mac is on the Club Trini CD that I have that he was a part of it. Must be just for that CD. Well, hopefully something surprising will happen. At least we know the band isn't busy somewhere with Jimmy again!

I kinda feel that way too. We're new to MOTM having only been once and had a great time......the newness hasn't worn off.....yet......

From the looks of this year's schedule you might actually be able to turn around and
not see Jim Morris.

what HOG said.......
I'd been waiting to see the lineup. I may give it a miss this year, unless the other people show show up to play in town make up for it... (Hugo Duarte, Margarita Mafia, etc....)
Seriously disappointed here.....

Well, no wonder. I ain't on the schedule again either.
And while I love KW and my Parrothead phriends...money's tight with the new album coming out, the airlines ain't fit to fly on, and maybe it's time to focus on fans and phans closer to home.
Like Migration in July.

Saw him performing in Charlotte before the concert. He is quite talented.

Fooey! I figured since I couldn't do a weekday Cincy I'd at least run into you in KW. You'll be missed!

I like him too.......hubby loves his music. His fan club is in a small uproar because he's barely going to play at MOTM. We heard that PHIP apparently didn't realize the "Barstools and Beach Chairs" was his song.....not sure if I believe that one.....
He did make some comment on Saturday when he asked who was going to MOTM.......said something like well at least you are......didn't sound happy about it......

I haven't been able to save one thin dime and with the airfares....
But next year !
I will miss you Pam and Debbie and even you Todd !! Well, not so much RR since you'll be in Cinci. But I will also dearly miss our bodyguard/fireman/masseuse Santa !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Say hello to Tall Paul for me (he's probably glad I won't be there to stalk him and Crawdaddy).
