Ya see, that just shows the quality of some people. Winning isn't enough, they have to keep talking trash after. Yes, I whine and cry and look for excuses when my team loses, I won't deny that. But, in the end, win or lose, I offer my hand and congratulations on a hard fought battle. It's called spotsmanship, I was taught it as a kid. Sadly, not all fans u8nderstand that concept, it's the "kick 'em while they're down" mentality for them. People can say what they want about me, but for all my faults, at least I'm a good sport. Win or lose.

Sorry. I missed the first 1 & 1/2 quarters of the game. I guess that's when
the bad move on your QB was made. And I wouldn't have liked that either.
Football is physical enough without trying to permanently injure anyone. I
was surprised that Garrard didn't get his legs broken the time I saw him hit
when he was out of the pocket. Now that would have changed the game a bit.

Well, I can't imagine that any Pro player would ever try to intentionally permanently injure anyone. It is a very physical game and the players are going all out and things happen but I don't believe any player is trying to do more than make a hard hit. That's what they are being paid to do.

Of course, De Rio was an idiot when he didn't challenge that penalty call.

Didn't see the whole game, but I don't believe you can challenge a penalty call. Happy for you though, Des. Connie and Michael, too.

On further investigation, it has been found to be a non-challengeable situation.
So, it's not the coach's error, but the officials' (and a prime example of how Heinz Ward is a winning jerk).
