Dang it , I was gonna mention them....I talked to Connie this afternoon...She's having a ball in Texas....Won't be back on the West Coast until Friday...

I don't understand why people from outside the Pittsburgh area dislike Hines Ward so much. Is it because he's a hard nosed football player who gives 110% every game? Is it because he's one of the best wide receivers in the game? Is it because even after being blasted by an opposing player, he jumps back up grinning from ear to ear? I just don't get it? This isn't T.O. Do you guys know that every year Hines brings a bunch of kids from Korea here to Pittsburgh.....takes them shopping.....shows them around Pittsburgh and they are his guests at the Steeler game that weekend. He's also involved in a lot of charities here, not to mention he's a really nice guy who is always willing to give an autograph to a fan. Something tells me that the people that don't like Hines, only dislike him because he's not wearing their teams uniform. Ya love to hate him, but you'd LOVE to have him playing for your team.
