Does anyone have the lyrics to "Still in Paradise?" I tried several google searches and came up empty. And, the song moves too fast for me to catch all the words with my ears. And, it's a great sounding song, so I'd love to be able to sing along as I listen. Thanks in advance.

I always hear "Biggie Bologna" instead of "Mickey Maloney"

gbman, someone copied the lyrics from the database and put them at lyrics sites...almost the same as they are printed here.

Interesting...
Guess that's just another example of how ya "heard about it first at Buffettnews"!

Ever since my first listen to the "Live in Anguilla" CD/DVD I find myself replaying this song over and over. There's just a certain "something" about this tune that I find to be addicting (in a good way!). It's one that I don't mind getting stuck in my head for a while.....
Like many of you I tried to catch all the words that were sung, but appreciate the lyrics provided here.
Also, I found Bankie's web site. Is this the only place you can buy his CDs?

Stuck In Paradise is listed at Amazon.com Click click on top of this page.
Also, at Bankie's site, the song is listed as Quality Time.
You can listen to Quality Time and other songs at myspace:

I purchase a CD from Bankie's web site. Along with the CD was a hand written note on Bankie Banx letter head thanking me for my order. It appears to be signed by Bankie's sister. Pretty cool.
The version of "Stuck In Paradise"/"Quality Time" on the CD I purchased is a tad bit slower than the version Bankie sang with Jimmy. Still difficult to make out all the words.

I bought a Bankie Banx CD after his show at BB King's last night, the lyrics for Still In Paradise are printed on the back of the CD case:
I got stuck in paradise I'm free in my head
I changed my attitude and my head's turned red
I just met Biggie Boloney on the beach down the shore
He said to call him in New York and come knock on some doors
I thought it was kind it's not in my mind I'm sitting here doing some ... quality time
This one is for the biggies on Madison Avenue
In their stretch limousines and fifty page contracts too
And their A&R trendies who didn't have a clue
And if they did, didn't know what to do
And for my buddies on frieght elevators on Eighth Avenue
With their flight cases and axes and their tokens too
In tattered jeans, show their shredded dreams, but still survive by gigs and scenes
And for Bob and the boys down in Washington Square
I miss you all, I just wish you were here
But, I got stuck in paradise I'm free in my head
I changed my attitude and my head's turned red
I just met Biggie Boloney on the beach down the shore
He said to call him in New York and come knock on some doors
I thought it was kind it's not in my mind I'm sitting here doing some ... quality time
And for my girlie and Mimi down in Tompkins Square
By the park where they talk the talk and they walk the walk
I got me a little cabin down there, not quite made for two
But if you want to come down I can share with you
Say hi to them clubs where we paid to play
You bite the dust or you eat the hay
The bookie's bright, the house is right
You eat the lies and you do the night
And for Wini and the bands that saw me through
Thank you all, I'm thinking of you
And I got stuck in paradise I'm free in my head
I changed my attitude and my head's turned red
I just met Biggie Boloney on the beach down the shore
He said to call him in New York and come knock on some doors
I thought it was kind it's not in my mind I'm sitting here doing some ... quality time

According to Bankie's lyric sheet you were right. But he spelled it "Biggie Boloney".

Just replayed the song on R.M.....I REALLY like the song once JB's vocals becomes prominent ....but I REALLY dislike the vocals of Bankie Banx on that song which makes it a tough listen in the regular JB & The CRB rotation.

True indeed. Bankie's voice is really rough on that one, as if he'd just puffed a big island doobie
The studio version is much better.

I love that song from "LIA"; great harmonica work and very lively (as is the whole CD -- wish I'd'a been there!). And I thought it was "Biggie" instead of "Mickey", too. Glad to know I was right.
