Kelli, I happen to like the shot of "the boys"... something about being married to a man who comes from a house full of boys. My husband comes from a family of six boys (with a girl right in the middle). There were also six nephews -- no neices... that is, until we had our girls!fins2theleft wrote: there a total of 6 boys....no girls

It's the largest residential home in the US.
It is a pretty impressive place. I highly recommend going if you are ever in the area. The only downfall is the ticket prices. It's like $60 or something like that. I can go to Disney World for that!!![]()
It is worth doing 1 time though. It's one of those things that you are marveled the entire time you are there.
They produce wine from there now...if anyone is a wine drinker, do you have Biltmore Wine in your area?....when you live in the area of something like The Biltmore House you see it everywhere, so I'm curious how far they reach.
Okay, so I'm anal... I had to look up Chateau de Blois and figure out why the heck I thought the Biltmore House was Blois... ah ha...Same staircase! (although Chateau de Blois was constructed between the 13th and 17th centuries) Mystery solved.

but that happens with a tall stool in the bar too..Conolulu wrote:For someone with a fear of heights....

Many a day I sat in senior English class on one of those cloudless days out in NW Houston and stared at downtown rising up over the horizon. To this day I can spot a Houston skyline picture immediately when it flashes by on the television.VanillaGrl wrote:More window cleaning (and check out that gorgeous Houston cloudless sky)
