Mama mallard with a bunch of little mallards
This duck was just sitting in the ocean. It didn't move, except with the current, the whole time I was on the fishing pier. I don't now what type of duck it is, I'll have to go check my field guide.
One of the woodpeckers I saw, a red bellied woodpecker. It's a lousy shot with too much sunlight.

I wish I had brought my good camera with me. This is a red headed woodpecker, the first one I've seen.
The next time I see a park ranger, I'll have to ask if Blue Jays are the gangstas of the bird world. Every time I see one of them fly down to the feeder, all the other birds that are there fly away.
Male house finch, there were a lot of them at the feeder today.
Sharks, but I don't know what type. There were 4 of them, probably in the 5-6 ft. range.
