And finally ... proof that you can dress me up, but it's no guarantee I will act appropriately .....

Some of you might remember my then 15 yo she-keet from the 2009 Waikiki Shell show...
Time does fly, she's now 22 and graduated yesterday from Santa Clara University with a BS in Accounting. Magna Cum Laude, Jesuit University Honor Society (Alpha Sigma Nu), Panhellenic Honor Society (Kappa Kappa Gamma), a finalist for the Bucky Award (SCU student of the year), Academic Chair and VP Finance of SCU Student Gov't, an all around good kid! I am one proud papa!

Congrats on the graduation. If I remember correctly, that was the year I sold you my Hawaii ticket because I couldn't find cheap airfare.

Incredible photos everyone, all I have is more BBQ and baseball.
I ran into a buddy of mine from high school last year at baseball, this year his son's team and my nephew's played. Here is my main man catching and his son batting.
He's too cool, I still want to be him when I grow up.
More natural instincts than I've ever seen. The first time he did this move everyone went crazy, now he looks for any opportunity to do it.
Doing another comp and we dropped stuff and I stayed to set up camp, they didn't leave me any keys, again. Drinking and shooting selfies.
We got a banner!
And a vodka sponsor. If you see Clear 10 give it a try.
In the miscellaneous category we did turkey, everyone loves this turkey. It didn't do good because the only thing that did good was beef. Big disappointment for us.
Brisket box, terrible brisket, massive disappointment. If we did just our average on brisket we would have been top 25 at least.
Pork box, it did well, not as well as we had hoped.
We keep doing great on our ribs, but we can't figure out how.
Chicken seems to be back on track.

I was a catcher when I played little league baseball. I hated it but nobody else wanted to catch so I got to play every inning of every game.

That's just it, on this little league team the coach keeps moving kids every inning or two, a lot of them don't want to play, they hate it. There is a few kids that really like to play catcher and are good, but they keep putting kids back there that have zero interest in it.
My dad played catcher, my sister played catcher, it was inevitable that he would, too. It helps having Salvador Perez, between playing and watching the Royals, his dad and I have moved him over to baseball cards and away from Pokemon.

Not our typical 4th of July blowout but I got a few good shots.
She was hamming it up, like I've never seen before.
I've been taking a picture of them on the wall at my parents every summer, not my best effort on this one.
I got my good camera back and it's shooting better than ever, I was really happy with how these turned out.

Sunday my Dad was out checking the leases. He drove up by a well that rarely gets checked on the weekend.
He saw a face dart out of the grass, there's a lot cats in the nearby town, and at first that's what he thought it was, but a second look he realized it wasn't a cat. He heard a whimper and he walked towards it. The a growl and he said to hell with it and walked away. Then he heard another whimper. He walked back and picked up this guy.
We're under a heat warning right now, he knew that if he left him down there he couldn't look Mom in the face. So here's Jack. Griffin is still trying to figure him out right now but they seem to be doing alright.
