NEW ORLEANS - Hurricane Katrina's victims have put a price tag on their suffering and it is staggering — including one plaintiff seeking the unlikely sum of $3 quadrillion.
A whopping $3,014,170,389,176,410 is the dollar figure so far sought from some of the largest claims filed against the federal government over damage from the failure of levees and flood walls following the Aug. 29, 2005, hurricane.
I don't wanna offend anyone, but you choose to live there, I will pay the 3 bucks at th3e most it costs for an empty 5 gallon bucket for them to p*** in. No way in hell do you deserve that much for what happened to you. Sure it was hell, but thats a thing you have to deal with where you live.
I AM AN AMERICAN
USA COMES FIRST
THE REST COME LAST
Maybe this person just figured that if they can get this money they'll be able to share it with the rest of the victims.... (it would save some time if we only have to evaluate ONE case rather than several thousand)
Where do I sign up You can not begin to understand the emotional trama my family endured watching the after math of Katrina 24 hours a day. I don't think we'll ever be the same peeps.
I wonder why they're not suing Kathleen Blanco and Ray Nagin for not having an emergency plan in place to deal with something like this. It's not as if the governor of the state and the mayor of the city didn't know a city that's below sea level might flood during a major storm.
This Katrina thing is getting really old with me now. It was over two years ago. The people were evacuated to other cities, given temporary housing in trailers, subsidies and many other forms of support. These remaining vicitms need to get off their backsides and stop attempting to mooch off the govt. Enough is enough. Many people relocate to find jobs or housing because of "events" beyond their control. These remaining people need to do the same. It's cool to bash the federal governenment. All the while the state and city governments flounder around. I don't live in the area I lived my early life, not because I wanted to leave but because economic conditions didn't permit it.
