Let's say one day you open the mail and find a letter from some distant attorney saying that you've inherited a beach bar from a long-lost relative. It seems that this relative somehow remembered you were a Parrothead and thought, for some reason, you'd have a desire to own the bar someday. Well, your "someday" has arrived.....
And, assuming that you actually "chuck it all" and follow your heart into the world of owning such a seaside establishment, and you feel that a name change would be appropriate, what would you now call
your beach bar???????
Kindly avoid the name "Bama Breeze".......

Assuming this a successful bar, I don't think I'd change the name.
But I might put a sign over the bar that says: "I have found me a home".
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

Yes, and with that tag line it sounds like a perfect franchising opportunity, too!! I can also picture T-shirts, hats, mugs.......

Lower 40's lats seem to work just fine in the summer in New England . . . with the hundred foot tall sand dunes I would have to call it Dune's View or Dune's Point . . . something like that . . .

Since I'd want the customers to keep coming in (ESPECIALLY the female ones), I'd call it "LARRY'S".

"Jack's beach side bar, grille and house of ill repute." It's got a nice ring to it.

Some great ideas for names so far. Keep 'em coming.....
I forgot to put "my bar name" in my opening post to this thread:
The Flip Flop Bar & Margarita Emporium - Where sunsets never end
Hmmm, that might be just a bit long to say every time the phone behind the bar rings......

A piece of beach where the sand is hot, the drinks are cold,
and everyone is welcome to get lost awhile

I have a couple but not sure which one I would use.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Or, when you're getting out of workon Friday, you could look at your co-worker and say " Looks like it's gonna be a Dark & Stormy Night"

I have the name for and Irish Pub....
But for a beach bar... if it is a great place now...I would keep the name.
IE: Hammy Down at the Beach
I would call it Karat's Hammy Down at the Beach...
Actually I like Hammy's, Upstate.
