Anna Maria Island, FL
Heading there for a short vacation in Feb. Have been there before, but am looking for others' perspective. Things to do? Decent bars/food? Looking for any/all suggestions and recommendations. Thanks!

Lucky you! I remember going there to visit my great-aunt as a kid. Loved the beach! Didn't visit (m)any bars at that age, though...

Love Anna Marie Island. Let's start with this map that you can link to:

The Rod and Reel Pier is nothing fancy but cheap good food. We always go there and usually see dolphin swimming around. You can also see the Sunshine Skyway bridge which is awesome to drive over and see.
Rotten Ralph's is also a good place to eat.
The Beach House Restaurant is fun and the food is good too. Beachside, has music in the evening and is always busy. It's down the road a way.
If time permits you should drive to Sarasota and go to St. Armands Circle. It's not all that far, easy drive etc. Love the shops and food there too. Hope this helps!! Have a great time.
