PartofthePhlock wrote:I cruised by Riverbend this afternoon in an effort to see the new pavilion. Unfortunately the race track traffic was letting out and it made visuals less than i would have liked. One thing I did see is that the parking lot across from Riverbend; the one with the asphalt is being worked on. They are digging out the hill and puting in a stone wall to hold the hill side up. Looks like it may have increased the size of the parking lot. Other than that things look the same. No water in the Sunlight pool but they did a fresh paint job on it. :D
the important question is how does the corner of kellog look? that is THE tailgate spot [smilie=coolup.gif]
I would say the party plots are in good shape. The corner lots at Kellogg and Sutton look the same. Cables were up and surrounding both lots. There were cars parked in a small grassy area between the corner lot on the west side of Sutton and the expressway. Appears some bushes have been either cut back or removed......but then it could just look that way because all the trees and bushes are not fully green yet.
Man I'm already missing it and it hasn't happened yet. Darn boss thinks his 3 year old granddaughter needs to goto Disney World during the concert, what about ME and my needs  I guess Sirius will have to do

Greetings to the Cincy Phlock! Just checking in to say I'm feeling like this ( :o ) knowing there's a three-month wait until my two-year hiatus from Buffett shows finally ends. Anything I can bring from ol' Lancaster County, PA? Shoofly Pie?

I'm trying to think of what I can bring to cook on my 'Marnin Grita Guy-put-it-together" grill. Last year we grilled cheese-infused brats. Maybe we'll do that old stand-by: cheeseburgers....????? We're bringing Mike and he's a good cook, so maybe he'll have an idea.
Maybe we'll just invade the Kroger the day before (before the pre-party Beganniversary thingie) and see what they have to grill. The weather has a lot to do with it, too. If it's supposed to have liquid sunshine, that means it'll have to be big sandwiches or something.

Went to Dollar Tree and Big Lots and got some STUFF for the tailgate.
I just figured out how much gas money it'll take to/from Cincy.
At least $150. :o [smilie=blush.gif] [smilie=shock.gif]

lessee.....if we bring the little Nissan, that burns about 2 gal./hr. A five-hr. trip is 10 hrs. both ways. That's about 20 gallons of gas. At $4 a gallon in July, that's 80 bucks. Double that if we bring the Jeep. :x

...and that's if Barry doesn't lose his tickets.
