Re: Cincy Tailgating
truCincyLandfall wrote:Hi everyone...
New to the site, but long time fan. Quick question. I never get to the show early enough to grab a spot accross the street from Riverbend to have beverages before the show, thus getting stuck in the Coney Island parking lot, where no tailgating is allowed. However, I hear you can in fact tailgate in the River Downs parking lot. Can someone confirm or deny this? Thanks.

Check list for Cinci
Laundry: Done.
Packing: Just about.
Plane tickets: In my purse.
The excitement and thrill of being where all the wonderful madness received the parrothead title: Priceless.
See all of you tomorrow and be safe.

Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

Ok, it was "a bit" out of the way, but we stopped at Christine's on the way to try and kidnap her. Banged on the door, but no answer. Oh, well, we tried!
Arrived Red Roof around 4:30-ish - only one working ice machine and it's out already, in case anybody's still coming up.
McD's across the street sells 10 lb. bags for a 1$, so all's well. (even though they're closer to 7 lbs.)
Getting nicely warmed up for CiP tonite!

Hey guys....
I've been a lurker on the boards for quite a while and I just got to the Holiday Inn in Cinci for the show!!
I know there are tons of fans here in the hotel and I need a little help with something since I had to fly in to town and its something of an emergency
Hit me up - jvining@gmail.com - I wanna hang with some folks before the show... and of course, I need that help.

Hello Marty & Moe
Have a Landshark for me please
I know you will have a blast. I'll be turned in here in Plano Tx.
Fins Up
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out, and proclaiming,
“Wow, what a ride!!!”

The suitcase is just about packed, and my house is ready to be left tomorrow. I'll be in Cinci in 16 hours. The airplane gods better be smiling on me tomorrow so that my flight will leave on time.
