large plate. take down one item at a time until gone. move to the next. don't care about stuff touching, actually don't even consciously eat one item at a time. Had that pointed out to me a while ago.

one item at a time. No real reason other than that's what the voices in my head tell me to do.

I have a nephew who is 2 and will only eat foods that are one, solid color, e.g. white rice by itself, no touching, not even any other food on the plate.
However, he will sacrifice his standards for a chocolate chip cookie, so I think he's a faker.

Although I don't mind my food touching and will occasionally eat a bite of one thing then another, more often I eat all of one thing and go to the next

what does dieting and personal trainers have to do with quirky food habits? (just curious ...)

As long as it's at least marginally edible, it's all good.

I'm like blackjack, I voted "other". I rotate my food...one or two bites of one food, then to the next one, and around and around we go. 8)

My weird thing : I HATE POINTY-ENDED FRENCH FRIES !!!!!!!!!!! :x
They're too 'done' and the ends are just useless tasteless little sharp non-potatoey burnt things. :x
My friends think I'm nuts, but they get all the pointy ended fries off my plate.

I don't care if they mix. I've always wanted to put a cheesburger in the blender and see what that's like

side note- when I eat hot wings I only use one hand.
Guess I don't wanna get both hands icky at the same time

Different foods aren't supposed to touch. That includes the juices. Only exception is stuff that gravy goes on (roast, mashed potatoes, stuffing can all touch and be covered by gravy - still eat 'em one at a time, though.)

Eat one thing at a time. Start with salad (actually, why bother even serving it) then veggies, then meat (save the best part for last.)

Tuna of any kind and ham/beans have been banned from my household. Tuna smells and tastes bad now. Ham/beans tastes bad now, smells bad later.

Yup, I'm a freak. :o

I like my dry food mixed with my canned food in my bowl but I hate when a piece of the dry food gets in my water bowl

I never understood the "KFC Famous Bowls" [smilie=mong.gif]

Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Sweet Corn, Popcorn Chicken, Cheese all glopped into one bowl.

Bleeeaaachhh! [smilie=asa.gif]

The comic Patton Oswalt captures my thoughts on this food mess perfectly:

Actually, they're pretty good. My girlfriend, her daughter, and the
grandaughter all love it. And of those 3, only the baby isn't a
picky eater. Try one. You might be surprised. :pirate:
